Hi I'm Kristina

I'm the mom of 4 incredible teenagers and the wife of the greatest man alive! And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have the most amazing teenagers! And the icing on the cake is that I am married to the greatest man alive! I have 3 gorgeous daughters and 1 handsome son. They keep me laughing and enjoying life everyday! My favortie time is driving in the car with all of them and listening to their stories. We have the most amazing times being together as a family. As they grow older and start out on their own paths, life will change. I cherish every moment with them and look forward to the future. Our oldest graduates this year, and that will bring about new challenges and changes. As a mom, I look forward with great anticipation and joy for her. However, I also feel sadness for the end of the chapters that have filled my life with so many incredible memories. My family is everything to me! They have my heart eternally! I love being a mother and wife. I struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and my children and my husband keep me moving forward and healthy everyday. They are my life! I love to bake and share yummy treats with friends, family and strangers. I find great joy in serving others and charity. Great joy comes from seeing smiles on others faces when you share a treat, give a smile and hug, and just let them know you care. I have a goal of setting up a charitable organization for teens. I look forward to the future and each day. I strive to become better everyday and grow into the best me I can be.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church when I was 25. I had moved to Arizona and was married and pregnant with my first daughter. At work, my bosses son was on his mission in my hometown. We would talk every now and then about where he was and I would tell her what the area was like. One night, I had a dream, that to this day, I remember as vividly as I did the day it happened. It was a battle for my daughter's soul and I had to choose how to save her from evil. The next morning, I had a prompting to start looking for a church to attend. I felt very strongly that I needed to look into the LDS church. The only thing I knew about the church was, they knock on your door. It took one meeting with the missionaries to know, I was home. This was the piece of the puzzle that I felt like was missing all of my life. As a little girl, I use to sit under my window and talk to God. I would beg him to help me fill the piece that was missing...the puzzle wasn't complete. He gave me that the day I met the missionaries. My life hasn't been easy. I struggle with a serious illness and the everyday trials that we all face. I would NEVER be were I am without the gospel. It saved my life. It has made the struggles, the trials, easier to bare. It has given me a family that I always dreamed of as a child. It is through Jesus Christ that I am able to wake up everyday and move forward. It is through Him that I find true peace, trust and love. I know why things have played out in my life the way they have. Every step as brought me to the moment I am currently in. There is joy in the gospel of Jesus Christ and I have learned the He wants us to have joy in all aspects of our lives. I owe my life, my happiness to the gospel. I am eternally grateful for my Heavenly Father, His son, Jesus Christ and the gospel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently serve with the youth in my ward. I absolutely LOVE working with the youth. They are amazingly strong and charitable. I learn so much from them and I pray everyday that I am able to show them just a glimpse of how much Heavenly Father loves them. My family is always helping and serving in our church and our community. We love serving others. The amazing thing is, when we serve from our heart, the world finds a way to bring that back around. I have always believed that no matter how hard life gets, the best thing to do is serve others. When we forget about our own trials and we do for someone else, life becomes easier. The burdens are lighter and Heavenly Father always takes care of us. I know that He ALWAYS is in control. I have had my faith strengthened by trials. And through it all, I have never doubted He is there and He loves me as His daughter. My personal realtionship with my Father in Heaven, is one of constant communication. I speak with Him many times a day. I love knowing that He knows me personally and that I can have a personal relationship with Him. My faith, my religion, is my life. God is first in my life. I know that I am never perfect, but I know that Jesus Christ perfects me. I know that it is up to me to move my faith forward. He will never force anything on me. I may not always understand everything, but I know that my Father in Heaven is always guiding the church. I am so blessed to have the gospel in my life. It is who I am. I am proud to say, 'I'm Kristina and I'm a Mormon'!
