Hi I'm Greg

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in North Carolina and I'm a convert.

About Me

I'm the father of six children. I'm a software engineer and a US Navy veteran. Married for 20+ years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a southern baptist and told from a young age that Mormon's were down right evil. I was on my way to stop some friends of mine from joining The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As part of that effort I agreed to hear what these Mormon's had to say, completely believing that I was going to prove them wrong and put a stop to this. However, upon hearing the Joseph Smith story and about the Book of Mormon, the Spirit of God touched my heart and told me it was true. I couldn't deny it. I was there to prove it false and God told me it was true. I was baptized six days later. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ. The very Son of God. He is my savior and the savior of all man kind. And The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the kingdom of God on the earth. Amen.

How I live my faith

My wife and I are married for all eternity in the temple. We have six children. Our oldest is currently a missionary in California. We teach our children that Jesus Christ is the only way back to God. And that through Him our sins can be forgiven. Most importantly of all we teach our children to obey the commandments of God. And that by doing this we can find happiness in this life. Prayer is a big part of my life. I know God hears and answers me. I teach my children to pray always.
