Hi I'm Emily

I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Elementary Education. I married my wonderful husband in the Mesa Arizona Temple. I have five children - two girls, 3 boys, ages 9,7, 5, 3, and 1. I love going on family bike rides, reading books with my children, running, and trying new recipes.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love being part of something bigger than myself. Knowing that their are others like me trying to raise children in righteousness, helps me to continue to do the best that I can. The feelings that I have when reading the scriptures and teaching my children about Jesus Christ, testify to me that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

I love working with the children in our ward. Each Sunday when I hear the children share and sing their testimonies of Jesus Christ, I know that I am right where Heavenly Father wants me to be. As a family, we read the Book of Mormon every morning before school, we say family prayers, and have Family Home Evening every Monday night.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Mormon women are nurturers. We find joy in teaching children and helping others. In our home, my husband and I work together to raise our children and support each other in our duties and callings. Show more Show less
