Hi I'm Debbie

I grew up in Arizona, have a Masters Degree in Education, a loyal husband and 5 wonderful children. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I love to draw and paint. I like to be creative when I cook. I love photographs and videos of my family and friends. I love being a wife and a mother! I enjoy teaching and learning. I enjoy supporting my kids and my husband in whatever they are involved in and have cheered them on through many soccer and baseball games, school band or ballroom dance concerts and competitions, track meets, pep assemblies scholarship pageants and Eagle Scout service projects. Most of all I like working along side my family in service projects. I really love the feeling we all get from accomplishing something together.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because I like the idea that I am a child of God, that Jesus Christ is my brother and I if I live his gospel I will have the Holy Spirit with me to guide and protect me and my family. I love having modern day Prophets to guide me and my family through this earth life. I know if I am a good Christian and follow Gods plan for me that my family and I can be together eternally after this life. It is so comforting to know that where ever I go I will have an instant church family that will be there for me with the same understandings and values that I have. It has been a pleasure to raise 5 teenagers in this gospel with clear guidelines and expectations, giving them freedom within limits to make good choices that bring out the best in them, giving them a bright, promising future. I feel so blessed knowing that my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ knows me, loves me and believes in me. I know he can and will do the same for you!

How I live my faith

Right now I serve in our Women's organization. My committee and I are in charge of 4 evening meetings each year where we serve a home cooked dinner and offer classes in a variety of subjects and service projects. I really enjoy the sisterhood of getting together with just us women to relate with one another and share in each others joys and difficulties. The spirit there is so sweet and inclusive which fosters friendships and learning. We love to have friends attend with us anytime.
