Hi I'm Kurt

I'm married and a father of 4. I love spending time with family & friends. I enjoy life in general. I'm Christian. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I believe I'm an ordinary person that likes to do extra ordinary things. While I haven't done anything major to capture headlines or the front page of a magazine, I believe I can make a difference in life. I love spending time with family and friends because, with out those two, you don't have much more, plus who else is going to take care of me when I'm old and grey. I enjoy traveling and I've seen many different parts of the US and world. I find it facinating seeing how other cultures and people live their lives. I spend my time outdoors traveling, golfing, camping, geocaching, biking, hiking, etc... I spend my time indoors working, reading, watching TV, going to movies, etc...

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of the LDS church because it gives me direction and purpose to my life on earth. I know who I am, why I am here and where I need to go. The gospel of Jesus Christ teaches me how to be a better person. I believe Jesus Christ is my Savior (yes Mormons are Christians) and he came to this earth to Atone for the sins of all mankind. If I live Christ's teachings and endure to the end I believe I can return to live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have been married for 21 wonderful years and we have 4 great kids. We try our hardest to live our faith to be able to live happily and overcome daily trials. We also try our hardest to instill these values in our kids so that they can combat the evils in the world today. My church calling has me working with the youth which I thoroughly enjoy because the youth are our future and a reflection of the past. I want to help them be all they can be.
