Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Southern Arizona. I love the desert and mountains here; including backpacking, fishing and hunting. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up working in construction with my father. I learned to be a drywall hanger and finisher. I used this as a means to finance my own college education. Once I graduated I was hired by the largest producer of drywall. I now sell drywall instead of installing drywall. My life has mostly been spent raising my 5 children with my wife. I have coached basketball, baseball, softball and soccer. I also have spent many weekends camping either with my own family or with the Boy Scouts. All three of my boys are Eagle Scouts and my two daughters also love to hunt and camp.

Why I am a Mormon

My ancestors were converted in England and Scotland in the 1800's. They believed so strongly in the gospel of Jesus Christ that they left home and family to join with the Saints in America. Their faith and sacrifice run deep inside of me. With that basis of faith I steadily learned through Sunday and seminary instruction and then later in my own studies. What I learned was that the Gospel of Jesus Christ had been restored in these latter days through a modern day prophet. I believed strongly enough that I left home to spread the good news of the gospel to the people of Argentina. I was blessed with the gift of tongues and quickly picked up the Spanish language. My faith grew then and continues to grow as I see the fruit bearing forth with great blessings upon me and my family as we follow Gods plan for happiness and peace. Amidst all the turmoil of this world I have found great comfort knowing that that God has a prophet on the earth today to lead us and guide us.

How I live my faith

I see my primary role as being a righteous example and leader in my own family and especially teaching and preparing my children for the challenges of life. This includes both knowledge of practical matters of living life but also a knowledge of who they are and how they should live their lives to find joy and happiness. Service and love of neighbor are the guiding principles that I strive to live by. It is so easy to get caught up in the entertainment of self and self-indulgence. It is the life of our Savior Jesus Christ that helps center me and reminds me of the greater purpose of life.
