Hi I'm Kim

Transplanted from Utah to Queen Creek 5 years ago. I love riding my bike and spending time with my family and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three great kids, and married to the love of my life for over 20 years. I love playing with my kiddos, hunting, camping, fishing, water skiing, golf, and playing softball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great examples I had in my later teenage years. They were dedicated to their family, served people and were generally happy. I wanted to know what made them different and made them who they were. What I found out was they had the gospel and were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I then I found out for myself that the gospel was true and that Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ live. The Book of Mormon is the word of God and is a companion to the Bible. By living gospel principles I could have my family with me forever. Life here on earth is more then just working and looking for instant worldly gratification. Having an eternal perspective allows us look past faults of others and allows us to have a Christ like attitude towards all.

How I live my faith

By trying to live the gospel every day of my life not just in spirit but in my actions. Treating people with respect and kindness. Serving in church assignments the best of my ability. Continue to develop a personal relationship with my Father in Heaven by praying to him on a daily basis. Reading the scriptures and the words of the our living Prophet and apostles. Raising my family in a Christ centered home. This is what I strive to do...yeah...right! If only I lived in a perfect world and situation. Life is life, with all its ups and downs. I try my best and that is all our Heavenly Father asks for. I know in the areas I fail, I can ask for forgiveness and through the atonement I can be forgiven and start again. I love the Gospel and so thankful that it has been restored on the earth. I am grateful for a loving Heavenly Father who knows me and knows what I am capable of. The Gospel is what brings me and my family happiness!
