Hi I'm Anneka

I'm a mother of three. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married and am a mother to three children. I am finishing my degree online through BYU-Idaho. My husband is also a student, which makes life exciting and challenging all at the same time. My hobbies include sewing, scrapbooking, repurposing, reading and writing. I just finished writing my frist novel, and hope to someday see it in print.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon first because that was the way I was raised. However, there came a time when I had to develop a testimony of my own. At thirteen I tried to share the gospel with a friend, and realized that I had to read and pray about the Book of Mormon for myself before I could really testify that it was true. My answer came through a feeling that I can only describe as peaceful. I felt in my heart that there could only be goodness from something that truly testified of Christ. There have been many instances since that point where the Holy Ghost has whispered confirmations to me about the church. I have also witnessed miracles that I believe came because I was trying to be obedient to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. Another important reason I am a Mormon, is because the church teaches that because of the atonement of Jesus Christ, all mankind may be saved. My brother was killed in a tragic plane crash just over a year ago. I know that I can see him again. I know that my family will be together after this life. My testimony has been an anchor to me during this trial and others like it.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an example at all times in my words, actions, and dress. I try to treat others as I want to be treated and see people as the Savior would see them.
