Hi I'm Nancy

I'm a Mormon. I am a mother of four. A grandmother of six. I volunteer with BSA. I love camping, sports, and family history.

About Me

I am a grandmother who loves camping, sports, and searching for my ancestors. Myself, my husband and a friend and his wife have a pinewood derby track that we take around to different Cub Scout packs and help them to have a fun, high tech derby. I have been raising two grandsons the past ten years and relearning how to be a mother all over again. I have learned lots of patiences and how to text and use a cell phone from them, among other things.

Why I am a Mormon

I can not wake up each day and look around me at all the beautiful blessings I have and not know that there is a God in the Heaven's above, who loves me and cares about me and wants only the best for me. Having been a member all my life, I have had to read and understand and listen for the Lord's words to me, to know that this is his church and that his Son sacrificed for me on the cross and then was resurrected. I love my Father in Heaven and his Son with all my heart and soul. i want to be with them again.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being a good neighbor and helping those around me all I can. In the past years, I have been a volunteer in the Boy Scouting program with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and their leaders. I also have helped at girls camp for a number of years, teaching them about the outdoors. I am helping teach eight lively four year olds at church every week.
