Hi I'm Sara

I'm a Mechanical Engineering student. I love long walks on the beach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm studying Mechanical Engineering at BYU-Provo. It's pretty awesome. Surrounded by guys all the time and everything. Just kidding, I really enjoy it. I guess I'm kind of a nerd in that way. It's way interesting learning how things we use everyday work. I also play the violin in my spare time. One of my favorite things to do is going horseback riding, but I haven't been able to that for a while. I love doing things outdoors: hiking, biking, etc. I just love nature, and all the seasons. I come from a family of five children. I only have one younger brother left at home, the rest of us have left the nest. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. My family has been members for generations. Though it is a church I just grew up in, I know it is true. There are so many reasons for that. I guess I truly realized this once I came to college and there were no parents forcing me to go to church every sunday. I could have just slept in on the weekends! But instead I decided to go to church, where I knew was where I was supposed to be. I have a testimony of the Savior and his atonement. His sacrifice is something that could never be done by any other, and I will be eternally indebted to him. I know that I am a child of God and we are all his children. I love this church, and I can not imagine my life without it.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week, and there my calling is a ward greeter. Basically what that means is that I get to church a little early and hand out announcements, smile, and say hello to all the ward members as they arrive at church. I also participate in the ward choir, which is so great for me, as I love singing.
