Hi I'm Alex

I am from southern California. I am a father of 3 beautiful girls and a loving husband to my wonderful wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I am a father to 3 beautiful girls and a loving husband to my wonderful wife. I love spending time with my family and doing fun activities. I enjoy playing sports (church ball) and the friendships that I have built with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. i was baptized when I was 12yrs old. Since the first day the missionaries began to teach me, I enjoyed learning about Joseph Smith, Tithing, The Word of Wisdom, Prayer. Through my service in the church I have been able to establish a relationship with my Heavenly Father and JesusChrist. I have been inspired by our Prophets to serve God and show love unto others.

How I live my faith

I live my Faith by doing service unto others. During my time in the church I have served in different areas. I have been a leader to the youth of our church, served in planning committees. We have also participated in various community projects throughout my years. I have also served in teaching the youth.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

President Gordon B. Hinckley, prior president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints made the following statement in 2005 about Joseph Smith: “We do not worship [Joseph Smith] the Prophet. We worship God our Eternal Father and the risen Lord Jesus Christ. But we acknowledge the Prophet; we proclaim him; we respect him; we reverence him as an instrument in the hands of the Almighty in restoring to the earth the ancient truths of the divine gospel, together with the priesthood through which the authority of God is exercised in the affairs of His Church and for the blessing of His people” (Gordon B. Hinckley, “Joseph Smith Jr.—Prophet of God, Mighty Servant,” Ensign, Dec 2005, 2–6). Show more Show less
