Hi I'm Leisha Barton

I'm a daughter. I'm a sister. I'm a marine wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young wife to a wonderful husband. I was born and raised in Utah and after getting married, I moved out of state with my husband who is in the military. I am a college graduate, I enjoy playing the piano and going on dates with my husband. I have a wonderful family back home in Utah that I love and I can't wait to start one of my own.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a Mormon has meant more to me since moving out of Utah. Being in different places where there are not as many member of the church has taught me to value the Gospel and the relationship that I have with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It is such a wonderful blessing and strength in my life to know that where ever my husband's career may take us, we will always have the Gospel with us and the loving guidance of a Heavenly Father who guides and directs us.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by being an example to others. In my day to day activities whether it is with friends or co-workers I live what I believe and I follow the standards of the Church. Others often recognize the way I live and are curious as to what makes me different. I find that answering the questions of others not only helps them to better understand me, but it also strengthens my testimony. I currently serve as a leader of the Young Women ages 12-18 in my ward. Teaching them every Sunday and hearing about their struggles and successes has been a great blessing to me. I look forward to going to church every week.
