Hi I'm Karl

I grew up in Arizona. I'm going to medical school in Iowa. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I served a mission in Malaga, Spain. After my mission I attended college at Brigham Young University, where I met my soon-to-be wife. We currently have 3 daughters and live in Iowa where I'm going to medical school.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a long Christian history in my mother's side of the family and that side included some great Mormon pioneers from the early church days. My father also came from a strong Mormon family in Utah. I was born to parents with strong faith in Jesus Christ and His church. I believed in the Church because they did. Now I believe in the church because I've discovered my own testimony or witness of the truth. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and firmly believe it is true.

How I live my faith

I have always loved the service opportunities being Christian provides. Service is perhaps the ultimate form of love. My wife and I currently teach youth ages 10-12 years old. I am amazed at how strong their testimony can be and how much more spiritual they seem than I remember being at their age. Every generation in the church is growing stronger! Proof that the Gospel changes lives and helps people become more Christ-like.
