Hi I'm Angela

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of 3 and feel blessed to have the 3 kids I've got. Being one of 9 children I thought I'd have at least 5 or 6 of my own but only 3 came my way. It was always important to me to be a stay at home mom and my husband has supported me in that decision. I love most things domestic except housework. It just never seems to be done and there are so many other things I'd rather be doing. I have always loved reading and find myself reading the books my teens are reading. I am a frustrated interior decorator because I'd like to be decorating my home but usually find my taste far above my budget! I love to play and teach piano and love good music.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church but I really gained my own testimony as a teen. I had a couple of wonderful seminary teachers during my high school years that definitely got me thinking about the gospel and desiring to know it was true for myself. Just after I graduated from high school I went to France for a few weeks to stay with a family there and was not in an area where I could easily attend church. What I did have was my copy of the Book of Mormon and I began a serious study of the book during that time. During that time I received my own witness that The Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and that testimony has never left me. I know that it is of God and that I am a better person because of the principles it teaches. I think that anyone who wants to know what we believe should start by reading The Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I devote a lot of my time to my church and am a leader in the young womens organization of girls ages 12-18. It is a lot of fun to be with energetic youth and my weeks seem to revolve around weekday activities and Sunday lessons. The girls in my ward are awesome! There is no other place I'd rather serve right now. I am so grateful for the talents I've developed through service at church. I've accompanied choirs and been blessed to be a better pianist. I've served with children for a lot of my adult years and have learned to look for the great possibilities that they all have. I also love serving with other good women. Mormon women are busy doing good things! Serving others is at the heart of what we teach and I have a testimony that service develops a greater capacity to love others.
