Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up around the world. I am a graduate student and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate student getting my Masters in Physical Education and can't wait to graduate so that I can be an elementary physical education teacher. I love to play sports and have been playing soccer since I was six years old. I also love to watch basketball and football. I grew up all over and don't really call anywhere home. I look forward to finishing my formal education so that I can finally settle down somewhere and establish roots.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was baptized when I was eight years old. Even though I grew up in the church, I still feel like I went through a process to I know that this church is true. I know that Heavenly Father loves all of his children and that he is involved in the details of our life. Although somethings may not seem important to other people, if it is important to us it is important to our Heavenly Father. I know that he hears and answers all of our prayers and sometimes when we feel like we are not getting an answer it is because he trust us to make the decision. He will not let us proceed too far down the wrong path and he will stop us before we make a mistake. I know that it is difficult when we are waiting for answers to our prayers but I have learned that we can come to know him better during this time. We strengthen our relationship with our Heavenly Father when we rely upon him and put our trust in him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to treat everyone like they are a child of God. As a teacher in training, I find that I am able to have more patience for my students when I focus on their incredible worth and see all the good that is in them.
