Hi I'm Aaron

I studied Jewish-Christian Relations in England. Now I'm an interior designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family in rural Idaho, yet I love to travel. Following a mission in Australia, I studied in Vienna and attended graduate school in England. I'm now an interior designer with a beautiful wife living in a humble rental unit.

Why I am a Mormon

Like many, I was raised in the LDS Church. My dad and older brother had both served missions and I knew from a young age that I would too. After receiving my mission call, it struck me that I really wasn't sure if what I had been taught was correct. I knew I couldn't go and teach other people something that I didn't firmly believe. So, I set about praying and fasting for an answer. And I received it. In the years since, I've had to look back many times on that experience and every time I've felt the same peace and assurance that I did as a 19 year old kid. I'm a Mormon because I firmly believe in the Book of Mormon and the Prophet Joseph Smith, but above all because of my faith in Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife is an inspiration to me. She has shown me the meaning of service. Together we have served in a local soup kitchen providing breakfast to the homeless, helped deliver food to those in need through a local food bank and teach the very active 3-4 year old children in our local congregation. Through activities like these, I've been able to meet amazing individuals of many different faiths and these people give me hope. They help me to be a better person and they increase my faith because of the light in their eyes.
