Hi I'm Alena

I grew up in Sandy, Utah and moved to Arizona in 2009. Then moved back to Utah in 2013. I love the Lord.

About Me

I am a mother of four beautiful children. Three are grown and on their own. I still have my youngest home. I received my Bachelors Degree from the University of Utah and was previously an auditor for the State of Utah. I am a single mother and relocated to Arizona in 2009. I enjoy the warm weather and love to serve my friends, family and neighbors. I am on the school council at my sons high school and a volunteer with the Disability Law Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized several years after the regular age of 8. My parents were not both members, however my dad converted and took my mother and siblings and I to the temple in 1977, just three years after my baptism. I will never forget the experience when we were all in the sealing room as a family and the work I as a teenager was able to participate in while at the temple. I love the saviour and am blessed to be a member of the one true church upon the earth today. I have the priesthood in my home through my teenage son and am grateful for the blessings it brings. He is such a special priesthood holder and worthy of all the blessings that entails.

How I live my faith

I have been a visiting teacher for many years and love to serve the sisters in my ward, which ever ward it may be at the current time. I miss all of the sister friendships I have back in Utah but am grateful they still keep in touch. I am new to the current ward I am in and have just been assigned four special women to visit. I can't wait to serve and bless their lives as mine has been blessed with the knowledge of the love our father in heaven has for each and everyone of us. I am grateful for Christs Atonement and the blessings it too brings.
