Hi I'm Paul H. Jennings

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired computer analyst. I started with computers in the mid 1950's when virtually no one knew what a computer was. I am an Arizona native, the great-grandson of a Pioneer who came across the plains with Brigham Young's 2nd handcart company. I grew up on various Indian reservations in Arizona, New Mexico, South Dakota and Montana. I served in the Philippines in World War II. I married a girl from my hometown who was with me for 63 years. We had five children, 19 grandchildren and, at last count, 35 great-grandchildren. I love the United States of America. I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church, but I really got a testimony while attending Sunday School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The instructor touched me with his lessons and testimony. I testify that living the Gospel Principles as taught by the LDS Church is the pathway to the greatest happiness in this life and in the life to come.

How I live my faith

I obey the laws of the United States of America and Arizona. I am honest in my dealings with other people. I have empathy for and contribute to those in need. I do not smoke nor drink alcoholic beverages. I practice moderation in all things. I volunteered and served for 19 years in the extraction of vital records and census data for use in computer search of genealogical names . I wrote and donated a computer program to validate input data that was used church wide in connection with this effort.
