Hi I'm Jordan

I´m from California and just spent 2 years on the Lord´s errand in Quito, Ecuador. I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I love music, especially really crazy independant rock bands you have to look for. I play guitar in a band and I love it! I love dance parties, working out in the gym, running, hiking, skydiving, snowboarding, dating, going to movies on opening night, and doing crazy things! I love adventure. More than anything though, I love my family, and my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up a member of the church helped me to make decisions early on that kept me on the right path. My parents raised me in an environment of love, and helped me come to Jesus Christ by praying and reading the scriptures. As a teenager and adult, I´ve learned to use the gospel to strengthen me and protect me against tempations that come. I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon is true, and I recieved an answer that it is. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I spend time with my family and attend church every Sunday. I´m always ready for a good service project!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

The key is just realizing how much he really wants to get to know you. Tell Him about everything that's going on in your day. Tell Him about the good things, your worries, concerns, fears, or pretty much everything you want. He wants to know it all. The more you do this the more you'll see God as He really is, your loving Heavenly Father. Show more Show less

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

I was a Mormon missionary in Ecuador, and I remember being so excited to meet new people. We would spend some time really getting to know the people we were teaching. It was more than just a teacher - student relationship. We were friends. We would share what we thought was most important, the restoration of gospel of Jesus Christ. We were never pushy and always respected other's beliefs, and we would frequently ask those we taught to keep certain commitments that would improve their lives, like going to church, reading the scriptures, and always to pray to know if our message is true. Our objective was always to bring others to Christ. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

When I think of eternal life, the first thing that pops into my head is my family. I love them and because of the restored gospel, we have temples where families can be sealed together forever. Show more Show less
