Hi I'm Susan

I am just an ordinary Mom with a profound belief in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have two degrees. I have a BBA in Accounting and an AS in Medical Laboratory Technology. I graduated with cum laude, and I received the Highest Achievement Award in MLT. I have two sons who served missions. My elder son served in the Czech Republic. My happiest moments have been as a Mother. God blessed me with two wonderful sons. I am deeply grateful for my dear family. I enjoy reading non-fiction and walking. I do genealogy research also.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was thirteen I was thinking of which church to join. I decided to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, but my Dad would not let me. Two years later when his mother was dying she left her dying testimony that the Church was true. Both she and my mother were inactive Latter-Day Saints. Heavenly Father sent visions and dreams to my mother testifying that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. My whole family joined the Church. Grandmother's testimony soften my Dad's heart. It was the best decision of my life. Heavenly Father has blessed me with the temple and my family. I find it difficult to express my joy that Heavenly has given me. I am bless with so much happiness. My sons' missions brought us so much happiness; I am so grateful they were part of sharing the gospel with others. Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have so much to offer. The Church of Jesus Christ is the conduit for his blessings. My testimony of the divinity of Jesus Christ and his Church are very dear to me. I have read and studied all the scriptures several times, and I know from my studies and the Holy Ghost that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the restored Church of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church regularly, and whenever possible I attend the temple. The temple is the greatest blessing in my life. I have been a MIA secretary, Primary Counselor and teacher, and for a short while I was Second Counselor in Relief Socity. I served on the Activity Committee and as a Sunday School teacher.
