Hi I'm Zack

I grew up on a farm. I am involved a lot in music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm. Growing up in that open-spaced atmosphere has made me a very simple, down to earth type of guy. I have 9 siblings. I am a middle child. I have been public-schooled, private-schooled, and home schooled, but mostly have been public-schooled. I am a person that likes to be involved in everything. I have done well in school, music, drama, sports, and in my relationships with other people. I will serve in the Mexico, Mexico City North Mission throughout 2012 and 2013. I am very excited for the time I get married. Right now, I am dating for fun, but after my mission I will date for a wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, or in other words: a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, because I grew up in a family that was such. The reason why I continue to be in this Church and live this gospel is mostly because I have read the Book of Mormon, and I have prayed about it. I prayed to my Heavenly Father and asked if the Book of Mormon was true. I prayed in the name of Jesus Christ. I did not get an answer the first time I prayed. I prayed several times that night because i knew that I needed a testimony of the Book of Mormon for me to continue faithful in the Church. Finally, in the middle of one of my prayers I received an undeniable witness of the Holy Ghost, so I cried. I knew that the Book of Mormon was true from that moment on. Because of this, I also knew that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that Jesus Christ is truly my Savior. I continue to live this gospel also because of the "fruits" that have come from it. I am comforted by the gospel of Jesus Christ, and I have new strength and life as I live the gospel correctly. This gospel is definitely a good gospel.

How I live my faith

I am currently called the Branch Mission Leader in the Singles Branch. In other words, I am a single, and I go to Church where almost everyone is single. I am given the names of the singles who are less-active in the Church in my area. Then, I look for and persuade them to come to Church and to Church activities. I know that the Church is a blessing to my life, so it is easy for me to fulfill this calling. I also live my faith by simply working hard and efficiently on the farm. I know that by doing my duty with my work, I will help the lives of others in many ways. last of all, I live my faith by striving to always remember Jesus Christ, always Keeping His Commandments, and always stand as a witness of Him.
