Hi I'm Erin

My hubby and I have 4 kids and both work full time. I'm a busy mom, Realtor and friend.

About Me

I'm a pretty normal person, I don't think being Mormon makes me stand out from anyone else a whole lot. Sure, I don't drink, I abstain from profane language, movies, music etc. But I bet we have more similarities than differences. I love to laugh, be with my family and I work full time, despite having 4 young kids. I have a great group of girlfriends that get me through the week. My husband and I work hard together to make it through these difficult economic times. Despite the tough times, we are happy and we love our family and our life. We do the best we can and focus on loving our kids and each other.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel inadequate more often than I'd like to admit. Quite often, I take on way too much. So when I lack or fall behind in any of the many things I have committed to, it's amazing how the love of my Savior Jesus Christ reigns me back in. Every year the world we live in gets crazier and scarier, but because of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that there is nothing to fear. When I am unhappy in my life, I have learned that serving Gods children brings insurmountable joy to my life. I am a daughter of God and he loves me and despite any circumstance I go through in my life. He supports me through my joys, heartaches, tragedies and he is ALWAYS there to help me, all I have to do is let Him.

How I live my faith

I feel the best way to show gratitude to my Savior is by serving him. Some of the ways I do this include being a good neighbor and friend. I'm not always perfect, but I try to include all of my neighbors in social activities and reach out to anyone who seems to need a friend. At church I have been called to teach Sunday School to the adults. It is soooo challenging. I am not a scripture scholar, and I am very busy during the week so finding time to prepare lessons can be challenging. I have learned so much and have grown to love the Bible and Book of Mormon even more because of this calling and am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to teach!
