Hi I'm Machelle

And I stand proud to say I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a mother to 6 beautiful children. I am a wife to an amazing husband. I am a teacher to all the toddlers at a center I work at and I enjoy it all now that I have found the truthfulness of the Gospel and my purpose in life. Now that my life has meaning I enjoy my calling in life as a mom, and wife, and my calling in the church, as Sister Friendly with the primary children. One person can make a difference, just imagine what we all can do together once we understand just a piece of Gods plan of happiness!!

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the church as a young single adult with 2 small children in 1998. From there my life would never be the same. I struggled in life and I knew there had to be more for me then the Misery I was feeling, so I sent out on a search for a church because one thing I did know is that there was a God and he could help me. I went from church to church each Sunday searching- not sure for what but still searching for something. I talked to several preachers and one in particular stands out to me this day. He wanted me to join his church and he stated to me that his is the best and that organized religions like Catholics and Mormons were not good religions, that his church was right. Once he said that, I realized that the one religion I did not look into was Mormon and I got a little agitated with this preacher because he was judging other religions and people. We don’t have that right, only God has that right to judge. How does he know they are wrong? Needless to say I investigated the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and I found what I was looking for!! That was Joy, happiness, togetherness, not only now but forever. My life has meaning now!! I have a purpose and a direction to head towards. I gained a great and true testimony of this church and the leaders in the church, and I invite you to seek out this truthfulness that I felt then and still do today, by asking for the Missionaries to come to your home. Ask them anything and everything, and pray. I want you to know that I know we have a heavenly father that knows us by name, and that he misses us, and wants us to come back home. That Jesus Christ is the son of God born of Mother Mary. That he died for our sins and was resurrected. I know that we need direction and counsel in these latter days to help us through these hard times of this dispensation, so I know without a shadow of a doubt that we have living prophet today named Thomas S. Monson to help us through these latter days who was call of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith one day at a time. I pray often because I do believe in keeping that line of communication open. Because I work hard at my callings in life and at church my faith grows more and more each and every day and in turn my blessing grow. I believe you have to have faith but not just any faith, you need an on growing faith to keep your testimony's alive and what better way to do that then by living by example, and what better what to do that then by doing your callings in live to their fullest. Live by example and let your light shine and people will follow!!
