Hi I'm Peggy

I live in north Idaho. I'm a homemaker and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a homemaker and have been getting back to the basics by baking all the bread we eat, gardening and canning. I also enjoy reading and belong to a book club. Knitting and crocheting are a couple of my hobbies. I like researching my family history. Although I've never lived outside the United States I have lived and travel all over the U.S. and done some travel in foreign countries. I am a mother and grandmother.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a mormon all my life. I have prayed, studied the scriptures and words of the prophets to learn for myself that this is our Savior, Jesus Christ's, true church upon the earth. I find joy and peace in following the teachings of Jesus. I am so thankful for the atonement and sacrifice the Savior made for me, making it possible to return to His presence someday. I know it is only by His grace that I can be saved. I know the Book of Mormon is true scripture, that it testifies that Christ is the Savior of the world. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. I know these things I have written are true, the Holy Ghost has witnessed them to me, I cannot deny them.

How I live my faith

Christ taught us to serve one another and as a mormon I have many opportunities to do just that. This past summer I worked cleaning up a local park, I helped with a painting project in the park. I've been working on making quilt tops that will be assembled into quilts at a quilting activity this coming November, the quilts will go to needy families in the community. I've been able to take meals into the homes of those who were sick, and clean the house of sweet friend with health problems.
