Hi I'm Jennifer

I live in Renton, Washington. I'm passionate about home, family, and music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife and a mother. I grew up in Wyoming, so I'm a bit of a country girl. I participated in the usual small-town activities like 4-H, marching band, parades, and living in a rural community. But what wasn't usual about it was how much I learned about what it means to be a family and depend on each other. So many practical "life lessons" prepared me for my future, pursuing a college degree, growing a career, and raising a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't known anything else besides being a Mormon. I was born into the church, but for me, going through my own personal conversion has grown my testimony and made me realize how important it is to rely on the Lord. Trials are less difficult, and happy times are more enjoyable when I recognize His hand in my life. Because I'm a Mormon, and because of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, I am blessed to know that my family can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I'm a daughter of my Heavenly Father. We are all his children. Every Sunday, I get to look into the eyes of young primary-age children and hear their singing voices while I play the piano. I'm thankful to be able to share my gift with them, and they give so much back to me with their sweet voices. We are a service-minded church, and although my children are small, we take them with us to service projects so they can feel the joy of serving others. We don't live close to our parents, so the church has become our family. I'm thankful for my brothers and sisters in the gospel.
