Hi I'm Mariana Cruz

I'm was baptized in the Church 4 years ago, I'm Brazilian, married in the temple and waiting for the first of many children.

About Me

I'm a married woman in the temple, and now we're expecting our first baby! I'm a student of Architecture at Federal University and I'm a President of the Young Women in my ward. I love music! I love to sing and participate in church choirs.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I baptize, I visited many different religions, but always something was missing. Always felt that was not the right thing to do, I could not feel confident. One day I met a member of the Church, and he told me about the Mormon religion. At the same time I had such a good feeling! We spent many hours talking about all my questions, and when the missionaries came to my house, I knew that right was to be baptized. It was the most important decision of my life, and never looked back. I'm so happy to be Mormon! I know the Book of Mormon is true! I know Thomas S Monson is a prophet. I feel God's love every day in my life, helping me to do the right things with family, at work, and with people around me.

How I live my faith

I am Young Women president in my ward and help these girls so special to create a testimony of Jesus Christ and strengthen it, teaching about the Gospel, talking with them individually and doing activities weekly. Before serving in Young Women, I worked in the Relief Society, which is the organization of adult women of the Church. There I was secretary and Visiting Teaching Leader. No matter where I'm serving in the Church, I always take the opportunity that the Lord gives me to do the best I can to help people around me and get me converted ever more deeply.
