Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a wife, mother of three girls, homemaker, college math teacher, photographer & digital designer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work from home as an online math instructor for a community college. I love to do photography & digital design. I LOVE TO READ. My favorite kinds of books are fantasy and young adult fiction. I love caring for my family and our home. I like to do spinning, yoga, and other group workouts. I enjoy road biking, and I'd like to learn to swim better so I can do mini-triathlons. I like to play wally ball with my friends. My kids are super fun and sometimes a huge challenge too. :o) We like to do pegboard beads, paint, and make and play with play dough. I love to bake, and I enjoy cooking too. Sometimes. :o) I served a mission in Paris, France.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel good when I read the Book of Mormon. I grew up going to church with my family, and learning the Gospel in my home. I have always loved it. I have always had a very special feeling in my heart about the things I learned, and I know they are true. I am happiest when I am living the Gospel. The spirit of God has testified to me in my heart and mind that these things are true and good and right. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to be diligent about reading the scriptures daily and praying sincerely and often to my loving Heavenly Father. We read scripture stories with our children before bed and we pray with them. I try to be patient with my children and love them the way I know that Heavenly Father loves them. I try to show patience and kindness outside my home too. I try to see people as Heavenly Father would see them, through loving eyes. I enjoy serving outside my home as well as inside. At church, I teach lessons to the 3- and 4-year olds. I love the little children. I also help organize the food storage effort. We can two different kinds of food storage each month at our ward building. Together, we save money on food and increase our reserves in our homes. We love to have the missionaries in our home for dinner and to share with us about their missions and their testimonies. We all benefit from their spirit.
