Hi I'm Kelcie

Hello Friends! I am 23 years old, a Sign Language Interpreter, and strive to live a balanced life through exercise.

About Me

I was born into a beautiful family that raised me in the gospel. Through my trials I have become closer to my Heavenly Father and have realized my purpose in this life. I believe strongly in the the amazing and complex body that our Father in Heaven has given each of us. He has made us so strong, and I know that we are only given trials that we can overcome. I love to exercise and recognize the amazing things I am capable through strengthening my body and my mind. My favorite activities include: rock climbing, weight lifting, wake boarding, running, pick-up soccer games, and riding my bicycle as often as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Bad things happen to good people. Tough times come upon people who are honest, and good, and love without expectations. Without these experiences we would not grow. It may sound odd, but that understanding is why I am a Mormon. I would not truly understand my worth, I would not understand my importance, and I would not be able to move forward without the knowledge that all the trials I have been given are part of my Heavenly Father's plan for me. And I wouldn't understand that concept with out His perfect Gospel that he has given us. I love plan of salvation. I love that I can return to live with my Creator, and my Savior. I love knowing that I will be reunited with my loved ones after I pass through this beautiful, crazy life. My trials have made me stronger, not because of trial itself, I think, but because of the testimony I have that is strengthen when I overcome something hard; the testimony that my life has a purpose, my life has a plan, and if I continue to grow in His gospel I can accomplish amazing things, not for myself, but for my Heavenly Father's work. I am important to Him.

How I live my faith

I love to study the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and everyday I struggle to learn true forgiveness of those who have hurt me so that I can in turn be forgiven. I understand that that in order to be forgiven ourselves we have to forgive ALL who wrong us, even though it may be hard at times. I want to live every day to be ready to meet my Father in Heaven. I believe that judgmental thoughts are as bad as judgmental words, and so I try every day to change the critical thoughts I have into positive ones. It is my personal goal in life to be truly Christ like. I try to be a friend to every one I meet, I try to love unconditionally, I try to forgive as soon as I am hurt and not be bitter, and I try to serve others as often as possible to show gratitude for all the wonderful blessings I have been given.
