Hi I'm Lauri

I am a happy and active grandma. I love to travel, hike, study, make quilts and play games with grandchildren. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I really like to learn all kinds of new things. I like to travel on cruises, tours and roadtrips. My favorite trip was a tour to Egypt and Israel. I was able to be where Jesus lived, taught and died. I cried when I first saw the walls of Jerusalem. My favorite memories are walking on the walls of Jerusalem, swimming in the Dead Sea, and speaking in our church meeting at the BYU Jerusalem Center on the Mount of Olives. My hobbies are traveling, family history, making quilts, hiking, and playing with grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I found the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 19 years old and joined the next year. Accepting Jesus Christ and becoming a member of his church is the very best thing I have done in my life. I love Jesus Christ and know he died for my sins and was resurrected. I follow him and obey his commandments to the best of my ability. I know Jesus Christ is leading his church here on earth. This brings me great happiness and peace.

How I live my faith

I have done family history for many years and have found it very enjoyable and rewarding. I also help others find their ancestors.  I enjoy traveling to attend temples throughout the world. My husband and I are ordinance workers in the Mesa Arizona Temple. We also serve others including shut-ins by visiting, phone calls, providing rides, etc. I have a very wonderful life.
