Hi I'm David

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, a huge sports fan and now a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a 20 year old college student currently serving a mission for the Church in South Florida. I love sports of every kind. Nothing makes me happier than being at the ballpark, the tennis courts, or at the stadium for the big game. I love spending time with my friends, and can definitely say they have had a big influence on who I am today. I was adopted by my family at birth, and am grateful everyday for the opportunity that I have had to grow up in a Latter Day Saint family with the gospel in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised as a member of the Church, being a Mormon has always been something that is a part of who I am. I've lived, learned and grown in the Gospel throughout my life, and have seen firsthand the blessings that can come from following the teachings and example of our Savior Jesus Christ. I have a firm testimony of the Book of Mormon, The Restoration of the Gospel through the prophet Joseph Smith, and that this is the Church of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony that through the Book of Mormon, any person can come to obtain a testimony of these same things, if they are willing to pray and act upon the answer they receive. I know and love that we have prophets on the earth today, guiding us and telling us the things we need to do. I continue to follow this Gospel because I have received a testimony of its truthfulness, and I know that there is nothing on earth that could bring more joy and comfort to my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Florida Fort Lauderdale Mission. I spend my days knocking doors, biking, teaching about our faith, testifying, searching for those who are ready and willing to receive the blessings of the Gospel, and above all inviting others to come unto Christ. We have long days and work hard, but I'm certain that there is nothing more important that I could be doing now. Thoughout my life I have done my best to be involved in the Church, from going to weekly activities with the other youth to earning my Eagle Scout in the Boy Scount program. I have always tried to be an example to those around me.
