Hi I'm Carol

I'm the mother of six amazing children that I have the privilege of being with every day and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time mom to six children ages 24 to 11, just two still living at home. I have home schooled all of my children which has sometimes been a challenge but the rewards have far outweighed the stress and feelings of inadequacy which always seem to creep in during the year. My husband owns his own electrical contracting and computer networking business which I help with the bookkeeping and office part of the business which keep us very busy. We love spending time together as a family and spend as much time as we can camping and fishing and doing water sports in the summer. We live in a beautiful part of the country which we love to go and explore new places all around us. In the winter we play lots of games, read and craft. My 13yr. old son is knitting a scarf right now! I love to sew and bake.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church but after leaving home I wasn't sure what I wanted in life and spend several years not going to church and living a very different life but soon realized I wanted something better, something lasting and real and I knew I needed to go back to church and change my life which I did and met my husband and have never turned back. We have put the gospel of Jesus Christ first in our lives and no matter what problems have come up or challenges we have faced with the Lord's help we have made it through and come out stronger and more committed to follow the Savior each time. I love knowing that my Savior Jesus Christ is always there for me and knows me and loves me and will help me if I stay worthy and ask. It is such an amazing blessing and brings so much peace to my soul.

How I live my faith

I love Sundays and being with others that believe the same way I do. There is such a good feeling every time I attend church. I love that we so not have paid clergy so that means we all help and do our part. I have served in many positions in the church and have enjoyed each one of them. Right now I help in the nursery which I love! We have about 10 little 18 months to 3 years old in our nursery and they are so fun! It makes me feel good to know I'm helping mothers and fathers be able to go to their classes and not have to worry about their children.
