Hi I'm Tanner

I'm a Husband. I'm a Father of three girls who melt my heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a family of five boys where snow skiing, water skiing and rock climbing held a consistent place in our lives. I served a mission for the LDS church in the West Indies where I lived on numerous different Caribbean islands. After graduating from college I got married and moved back to the Caribbean where my wife and I lived and work on the island of Grand Cayman. I currently live in Georgia where I work as an Area Vice President for a management consulting and training firm. I'm a very proud father of three daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that happy people and happy families learn to establish their lives within a framework of principles that will lead to happiness. I have found those principles and that framework within this church. There isn't a single aspect of our approach to raising our three daughters that isn't informed by our faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ. We have learned and are continually reminded that happiness in our marriage and within the walls if our home depends entirely upon our ability to get and keep the Spirit of the Lord in our lives. Everything else pales in importance to that truth.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I'm responsible for ensuring a group of young men in our church are taught a lesson that is centered on a principle related to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I feel a sense of responsibility to teach these good young men about the source of true happiness and the importance of making decisions that will invite the influence of the Spirit of the Lord into their lives. Once a month we invite these young men into our home for a Sunday breakfast where we fill up on food and then read and discuss a chapter of scripture together. I've become more hopeful for our future world as I interact with committed youth with the spiritual fortitude to resist the influences of moral decay around them and who stand up for something better.
