Hi I'm Cheryl

I'm a mom of 3 kids. I enjoy quilting and photography. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mom of 3 children. I enjoy photography, quilting, and other crafts. I stay busy being involved with the schools my children attend and participating in other aspects of the lives of my children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have come to understand the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ through study and prayer. As I have asked in prayer to understand the things I have studied and learned, the truthfulness has been revealed to me by the power of the Holy Ghost. It speaks peace and love to my mind and my heart. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and watches over me. Often my prayers are answered to lead, guide, and direct my life. Through this inspiration I am able to be a better mother and stronger individual. I have read the Book of Mormon and know that it is true. It is another witness of Jesus Christ and strengthens my understanding of the Bible, which I have also read and know to be true. The Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God through his servant Joseph Smith, a prophet. My testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ is one of the most important things to me in my life. Through it my family grows stronger and I am a happier person.

How I live my faith

In my church I have had many different responsibilities. My favorite ones are when I am working with the youth of the church. I have taught many different classes as well as helped the youth learn to become leaders as they plan activities and learn to lead and teach themselves. Currently I teach music to the children of the church. It is so fun to see their enthusiasm and desire to learn. They learn of their Savior through the music and their joy in the gospel grows.
