Hi I'm Naomi

I love scrapbooking, music, cooking and travel. I'm a wife, a mother and a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In 2008 I was married for time and all eternity in the Brisbane Australia Temple to a wonderful man. We have been blessed with a beautiful son who brings constant love, laughter and delight to our lives. The most joy in my life comes from spending time with my family. I am a special education teacher and I love my job. I am blessed to work in a Special Education program within a Brisbane High School. The students I work with vary in regards to their disability, personality and interests. Each student has a special spirit and I know they are a child of God. My life has been greatly blessed through helping each student work towards reaching their individual potential. Each student I have taught has left an imprint on my heart.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has blessed me to know that I am a daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me and that he has a plan for me. I am grateful to know that he answers my prayers and that I am never alone. Reading the Book of Mormon and Bible has allowed me to gain a love of my Saviour Jesus Christ and a desire to learn and live by his teachings. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ I have found peace, comfort and joy. My favourite song is, “I love to see the temple.” One of my greatest blessings is that I have been sealed to my family in the Lord’s holy temple for time and all eternity. I know that if I continually strive to live the commandments of Jesus Christ that I can be a part of an eternal family.

How I live my faith

I strive daily to become a better wife, mother and daughter of God. I strive to develop a closer relationship with my Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ through scripture study and prayer. I seek to be a disciple of Christ in all my thoughts, words and action. The church has provided me with opportunities to learn more about myself and grow through service. I am currently blessed to serve as the pianist in our women’s meeting each Sunday. This assignment has allowed me to strengthen my talent and feel the spirit as I play the hymns that testify of Christ.

What is the Relief Society?

Relief Society is a worldwide organisation for women who are over the age of 18. This organisation has helped me to gain a stronger faith and testimony of Jesus Christ. Through lessons and activities I have learnt my role as a daughter of God and how I can strengthen my family. As a part of a worldwide women's organisation I have been able to assist in reaching out to others in need. Show more Show less
