Hi I'm Brianne

I love to go on long walks, smiling is my favorite, and ASL is my passion. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Dad is in the Air Force and I am from a family of all girls. Needless to say, I moved a lot while growing up and my sisters are my best friends. I love musicals and the theater. Dancing and singing always bring a smile to my face. My passion in life is American Sign Language, I think it is an absolutely beautiful language. It's easier for me to express myself in ASL than it is in English. I am a Sophomore in college and I love to learn, but like most students my age, I have a tendency to procrastinate. I love to take longs walks when the leaves are changing color, and when it is snowing I like to curl up with a good book. I think everything happens for a reason and happiness is a choice. I try to live each day to the fullest and I try to not take myself too seriously. Life is meant to be hard, but worth it and that's okay because if something isn't worth fighting for it isn't worth having.

Why I am a Mormon

It is very easy for me to feel weighed down by the cares and stresses of the world. The Gospel gives me an eternal perspective, it helps me to not feel so alone or afraid. I know that with Christ I can do all things and I am never alone; I can't even explain what a comfort that knowledge is. The Savior knows exactly what I'm feeling and He knows perfectly how to comfort me, all I need to do is ask for his help. I am so thankful to know that families can be together forever, marriage doesn't just have to be "til death do part". The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives my life meaning and purpose. I know who I am, I know where I came from, and I know that I can live with my family forever after this life, and that means everything to me. Without this Church and my Savior I'd be nothing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example. I try everyday to find opportunities to serve and uplift those around me. I live my faith by doing the little things daily to become better and to help those around me do the same. I go to Church every Sunday and I take religion classes from my university. I pray and read my scriptures daily, and I constantly try to better myself.
