Hi I'm Willy Holmes

I'm from Seattle. I was a missionary in Panama. I studied at Arizona State University. I'm a Professional golfer. I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Willy and I enjoy writing about baseball and playing golf! I love music and I like meeting new people! I love reading books and traveling around the world when I have time off! I have a dog named Woody and I love him! He is a Pomeranian / American Eskimo mix! I love playing musical instruments, especially the guitar! I am learning how to play the Piano!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because once I read the Book of Mormon, I knew without a doubt that the church was true. I have always known my Heavenly Father loved me, but it wasn't until I read the Book of Mormon that I began to understand just how much he loves for us. Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ love each and every one of us, and we can all experience so many blessing by living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church because the Book of Mormon answers the questions that I could not find anywhere else. By the power of the Holy Ghost I was able to gain my testimony of the church through careful study and prayer. I will continue to serve the Lord and his Church because I enjoy the blessings that I receive when I am obedient to his commandments. I love God, I love his son Jesus Christ, and I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord anyone I can. In the Church I am responsible for helping others to find employment. I also plan activities for members of the young single adult ward that I participate in. I also enjoy visiting members of my ward in their homes. Just stopping by and saying hi to someone can really go a long way in making someones day better. Serving in the church is great because it is an opportunity to serve others. Never at any other time in my life have I felt closer to the Lord than when I am in the service of my fellow brothers and sisters.
