Hi I'm Leah

I'm a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student, about to graduate with a degree in communication. I have been a wife for over a year now and love being married for time and all eternity to my best friend. I love to be outdoors and play with my dog Beamer, he is like my child! I am a convert to the church and to this day, I think (besides getting married) was the best decision I have ever made.

Why I am a Mormon

I was converted to the gospel when my heart was touched by the spirit when I was sitting on the beach pondering my life. I felt a piece of my soul missing and at that point in my life felt that it would be a good idea to fulfill it. I turned to the scriptures and knelt on bended knee daily to find guidance. My heart landed me in Provo, UT living with a bunch of my very best friends (all in which were LDS) One of my very bests, questioned my decisions on why I moved to Mormon land and at that point I knew it was because I wanted to be surrounded by people who loved the lord and his scriptures as much as I did. The spirit urged me to call the missionaries and invite them over. The beautiful lessons made my decision that much easier and I was baptized within two weeks. There is beauty in seeking what your heart urns for and knowing that your prayers were answered by simply following the prompting of the spirit. My life has been amazing ever since I became a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily by opening my scriptures and finding answers and comfort. Praying always helps me get through anything. I have had the blessing of being able to work with children as a teacher in the primary at church, I swear after every lesson I walk away learning more from them then what I prepared for my lesson, they are such blessings. I love having friends and sisters in the church and knowing that I am always looked after and loved. Living my faith is what gets me through my day successfully!
