Hi I'm Amy

I am grateful for each new day. I try to multitask yet take life one step at a time. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother, a listener, a teacher. I love to read and share time with my friends or family. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and a stay-at-home mom when I grew up, and I have been able to do both of those things. I also like to garden, bake, scrapbook, and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

Generations of my family have been members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I remember when I was a young girl wanting to know for myself that the church's teachings are correct. I am a Mormon because I know God loves me, and this is His church. Through the years my understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ has deepened; this has only strengthened my beliefs.

How I live my faith

Faith should be demonstrated in the choices we make and the actions we take. One thing I have learned from a teaching background is to frequently assess how I am doing or what I can be doing better. I also believe that when I do my best and turn the rest over to the Lord, He will make up the difference where I am imperfect. I actively serve in my ward and attend meetings every week both because I am personally blessed and because being involved is a way to help others. When I serve, whether it's in service to my family, my church, or neighborhood community, it is a way to live my faith in Jesus Christ.
