Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. I play golf and snowboard. I am in college and got married 2 years ago. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love sports. I love playing golf and tennis. Growing up I also played basketball, baseball and soccer. I got married in June of 2009 to my wife Callie who is from Arizona. We are both seniors in college right now. I am studying accounting and want to get an MBA. Callie is studying exercise physiology and wants to become a nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a mormon. My whole family did. My family has been in the church for about 4 generations I think. I remember as a teenager I wasn't sure if it was the true church or not. I decided to pray about it and ask for myself if it was true. I had a great feeling of peace and something that I can't put properly into words. I knew that what I had been taught was true. There have been so many remarkable miracles that have occurred to strengthen that conviction since then. My faith provides an anchor for my life. There are great people within the church that have been great mentors to me as I've grown up. I feel like the church helps families to be happy.

How I live my faith

I participate by going to church each Sunday. I have taught classes, helped with the children and have served in leadership positions. I also have the opportunity to visit a couple different families every month to make sure they are doing well and to share a short message with them. Living the gospel is something that requires obedience to the Lord's commandments but still allows you the time you need to fulfill other obligations such as work, school, family gatherings, social activities etc. The church provides the youth with great opportunities to get together and do activities.
