Hi I'm Bette-Sue

I'm a mom and a grandma. I was on a t.v. reality show, the Biggest Loser with my daughter Ali and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Bette-Sue. I'm a mom , a grandma ,a wife and a beauty school instructor! I also was a reality show star! I was on the Biggest Loser first couples show. And my daughter won the show! In fact she was the first girl to ever win! I was one of the oldest participants at the time! And I got to inspire women of all ages to get healthy"! I LOVE helping people! Especially helping young women know how special they are!

Why I am a Mormon

I am so proud to be a mormon! I was born in the church but I had to choose for myself as an adult! So I studied very rigorously and I prayed alot. The testimony of my family had not been enough for me. Some missionaries helped answer my questions even tho I was technically a Mormon . And my prayers were answered with a clarity that I had never known! Finally I KNEW the truth for myself! The joy in my life multiplied many times over! I truly experience the burden of past mistakes being lifted from me and a forgiveness was felt deep in my heart like nothing I have ever experienced before. My life became an experience of joy and no longer a life full of regrets and sadness! I know my Father in Heaven loves me, and that Jesus Christ is is my Savior and the the Holy Ghost enabled me to know that the church was indeed the original church and gospel of Christ. and that more love and joy are possible only with the integrity of living a 'Christ-like' life. In a world where people are confused about what "reality" really is and where the influence of negative media outlets, the church has been a beacon of light and the members of the church are like a refreshing breath oh air with clean and virtuous lifestyles and a love for ALL people. The contributions that are given by members of service and time to help those that need help is something I will always be proud to be a part of

How I live my faith

I try to live as Christ would. Not always very effectively:). Lots of work to do. But I can say I genuinely love people and I try to help those in need in my life connections. To inspire people through sharing my life experiences and life lessons. I fulfill my mission by being there for students in my profession and when I'm lucky enough I share my insights in public speaker forums. Anything is possible when you have an understanding of you heavenly heritage! That's the message I try to share. I also am really lucky to have a position in the church in public affairs. My position enables me to go out in the community and work with community leaders and other churches and find needs people's may have in our area and help coordinate volunteers to fulfill their needs, this also helps people understand more about what Mormons are about..... That we are just Christians helping people! This is a fabulous calling!
