About Me

I'm a wife & mom of two twenty-something boys. I am also a daughter, sister, aunt & friend. I work full time in corporate accounting. I love to read, crochet baby blankets, shop, decorate my home, walk for exercise, get together wih girlfriends and travel. Most of all, I love being with my family! Life isn't always easy... seems like we're always trying to catch up with bills, fix a broken car, or overcome health issue. My husband & I always worry about our boys choosing the right path in college & career, worry about our aging parents, the economy, our retirement future. But no matter what comes along, what I've learned for sure is... have faith & be grateful! The Lord loves us, he will guide us & take care of us. I love my life! I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Two of my favorite words that I try to live by are: Faith and Gratitude. I love my life, and am truly grateful each day for the unique and special blessings the lord has given to my family & I. Tough times have come to us, and probably will continue to come, but the Lord always blesses us, and guides us through them. He grants us tender mercies that show us his love, and gives us gifts that bless us beyond the struggles. If we will just walk by faith, the Lord will guide & comfort us. I want to live my life each day, so that I can be an example of faith & gratitude to others. I want others to know that I believe in Christ, and that I am eternally grateful for his sacrifice & atonement! I want them to see my faith & beliefs in my countenance & actions. I pray that I can be a source of strength to my family, that I can uplift them & guide them on the path to our Father in Heaven. My beliefs and church are a daily part of my life. I can't imagine my life without that strength & support. I have a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, his sacrifice & atonement. I know the Book of Mormon is another testament of Christ, along with the Bible. These books are given to us as a blessing from God & they enrich, guide and bless me daily. My testimony is precious to me, and I am grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am so fortunate to work with the women in our church. I admire & love each of the women. They all have amazing, individual talents that they share with our church & community. Each one of them has stories of struggles, tragedies & sadness, miracles & blessings, and I have learned great lessons from them all. I love having a sisterhood of support that follows the motto "Charity Never Faileth". Sweet sisters that serve each other and their families, care for the sick, depressed & poor. Sisters that are there when someone needs a listening ear or wants to share a fun moment. I am grateful for these sisters that strive to live as Christ would. My husband (who is a convert in the curch for 11 years) and I, are also involved as ward missionaries. We have loved working with the full time missionaries in giving lessons to those in our community that are ready & excited to learn about Christ. We have truly seen hearts opened & lives blessed. True miracles have happened in families that open their lives to Christ and desire to live by his teachings! I love sharing the gospel of Christ & I love being a Mormon.
