Hi I'm Maddy Harward

I am an actress, a singer, and a future missionary who loves her family more than anything. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing. Hymns and Worship music are my favorite thing in the whole world. I absolutely love to share my testimony of the gospel through music. I was in theatre all through high school, and found an absolute passion for it. This passion helped me decide what I want to do with my career. I would like to be an Elementary/Secondary Theatre Arts teacher. I just finished my first year at Utah Valley University, and am now preparing to leave on an LDS mission this August to serve in Tacoma, Washington!! I cannot wait.

Why I am a Mormon

This church has changed me. It has made me realize what my purpose is on this earth. Because of the LDS faith, I was raised in a very spiritual home. My parents have taught me everything, and I will be forever grateful to them for that. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and that Jesus Christ died for all of us on the cross. I also know that he was Resurrected. He did this because he loves us, and he wants us to get back home to our Heavenly Father through repentance. I love my family, and I know that if we all live righteously we will be together in heaven for eternity. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, and that it is the true word of God. I believe in the Bible also, and I know that those two books are the keys to our salvation in helping us get back to our home in heaven. I know that President Thomas S. Monson, is a true prophet, who holds the priesthood. All that he tells us is true, and from God. I know this, because when he speaks, I can feel peace like no other. I know that the Mormon church is the true church. I know it with all of my heart.

How I live my faith

I go to a Singles Ward in my area every Sunday, and go to Ward Prayer every Sunday night. It really helps prepare you for the week. Whenever I am not doing homework or working, I attend the temple as much as possible. It has definitely helped me remain focused on what is most important in my life right now. I am an active member in my ward, and attend Mission Preparation class every week!
