Hi I'm Sadie Slade

I've lived in New Mexico and Arizona. I love to sing and perform. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm 15 years old, and I love my Heavenly father and Jesus. I have a family of 5, and many great grandparents and grandparents, and many many cousins!!! I like to play basketball, and I played for a few years on a team. I like to perform and entertain people. I'm in choir at my school, because I love to sing. I've sang in front of people since I was 5 and I really enjoy it. I've started to take piano lesson, to finish what I started a few years ago. I've played violin for a few years also. I love painting a drawing. I love people and I try to do whats right. I can be shy, but once you get to know me, you find out that I'm not.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints , because I love my heavenly father. I love Jesus Christ, he is the best example for us to follow, and he died so that we can return to our Heavenly father in heaven.I think that it is completely normal to question the church, but heavenly father works in mysterious ways and he will always help guide and direct you to where you need to be, and to help you see that it is true. He has helped me to see how it is true. Many non members feel like our practices are strict and not necessary, but I personally feel like our practices are only there to help ourselves and our families. Heavenly father always knows best, and he speaks through revelation to the prophet so that we know what to do. We may not understand fully why heavenly father wants us to do things, but there is always a good reason behind everything. I chose to be a member, because I can feel the spirit, I just have this wonderful feeling, that tells me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I am one of the leaders in my age group for the young woman. I help to make sure that all the other girls in my age group, (also including older and younger) feel included, and so that they see the importance of coming to church and coming to mutual. I am in the Mia maid group, which is 14-15 year olds, and it is truly amazing. I have moved around a couple of times and I know many girls aged 12-18 in the young womans programs, and they are so wonderful.
