Hi I'm Jason Bagley

I'm happily married with 4 children, living in Buffalo New York, and I love sushi. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the plant manager at a salt processing facility located in Buffalo, New York. I work with a team of incredible people who know how to work hard and work safely. My previous job involved operations on the Great Salt Lake where I learned to extract minerals using solar evaporation. (Quick fact: solar ponds evaporate 100 million gallons on a hot, dry day.) As a father of 4, my evenings are spent playing tennis or taking kids to music/dance lessons. My biggest challenge is balancing the demands of a carrer with my family needs at home. We love the Buffalo New York area!

Why I am a Mormon

The church provides a wonderful sense of direction in a busy world. It offers my family, especially my children, values and commandments which liberate them from worldly, addicting behaviors. One commandment is the word of wisdom which prohibits smoking or alcohol consumption. Steering my children away from these products early on means they will have fewer challenges at school and later at work with the consumption of these harmful substances. Belonging to the church also allows me to converse with God daily. While the conversations are not as direct as talking with a friend at work, I know He is there and that He listens to my prayers. I feel his answers and know he cares enough to respond in his own way. My knowledge of the plan of salvation (or what happens to us when we die) motivates me to be a better father, husband, coworker, and friend in my associations.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Boy Scouts with two sons actively involved in the program. I enjoy other community service projects, such as participating in canned food drives and painting fences.
