Hi I'm Ben

Whitehat Hacker, wannabe race car driver, and I'm Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I was blessed with parents who had the insight to ensure I received a valid education. I started college very young (13) and discovered my talent for computers. Realizing my love of hacking, I soon became enthralled with improving the security of computer networks and applications. Fast forward 15 years and I'm fortune to be involved with improving organizations, business and governmental network security and providing safety for end users. Along this time I got involved in motor sports and found my love for racing cars and attempting to improve upon them. Although my mechanic and driving skills are no where near the same level, I still enjoy the pursuit of bettering myself through learning and practical application.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm Mormon, because I believe that modern day revelation is still given to modern day prophets. I know of the good we give, and i have an understanding of the love our Heavenly Father has for us. I am no means perfect, and have made my fair share of mistakes. I'm grateful for that there is a way provide for me to ensure I will be forgiven of those shortcomings. I understand and know, that its not by grace alone I'm saved. I'm required to live up to my end of the deal. I choose this, as I know it to be true with every bone and fiber of my being.

How I live my faith

I try to live by example. I live my faith by trying to ensure I'm always doing what the lord would have me do. Often times this is simply providing service to others or keeping his commandments. As an example, I love to take my car to the track and pretend I'm a race car driver. Most races on held on Sundays. Keeping the Sabbath day holy is a very important to me and I choose not to race on Sunday, the lords day.
