Hi I'm Corianne

I'm a book nerd, preschool teacher, wife, mother of 4, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Idaho. Met my husband at college, we both had the same major; elementary ed. and special ed. We were able to student teach together and graduate together. We have 3 boys and 1 girl. I love to read! Nothing is better than getting lost in a book! :0) To keep my mind from going crazy I teach preschool at my home. I love the innocence of 3 and 4 year olds. I also love the energy they bring! I am a bargain shopper. Being on a teachers salary, I love to see how far we can stretch our dollar. I love building furniture and making crafts. I love the idea of being 100% self sufficient. I like to learn new things and love to socialize! I also have a bad habit of singing songs really loud around the house (much to the embarrassment of my children!)

Why I am a Mormon

Life is crazy, there are so many directions you can take in your life, good and bad. The gospel makes sense of all the madness. It lays out a path that creates happiness. The gospel brings peace, love, and feelings of self worth. To know that you are loved unconditional, to know that you can be guided through difficult times, to know that your family can be together forever, to know that we have living prophets today to lead and guide us, all make life easier to bear. Just like I know the sky is blue, I know that this church is true! It just makes sense. :0)

How I live my faith

I attend church every sunday, even when my children act crazy. Some times I don't hear a word because of my younger children, but I always feel the spirit and I know that is where I need to be. I lead the music, which has been a learning experience, but I am grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn something new. I am not perfect, far from it, but I strive to be better every day; a better wife, mom, teacher, friend, and neighbor.
