Hi I'm Sherri

I'm a Mormon. I was raised in the church. I gained my testimony by attending my meetings and feeling the spirit.x

About Me

I am married and have 4 children and two grandkids. I went to BYU-Provo, but didn't graduate. Decided to go back home and get married instead. I am currently a school bus driver and loving it, after many years of working in an office as an administrative assistant. It is a nice change of pace. I love to read, travel, go to the movies and be with my family. I love to go on hikes...it brings me closer to God and his beautiful creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. It has given me so much happiness and a meaningful life. I have a testimony of and am so grateful for the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation: we lived with our Heavenly Father in the spirit world before coming down to earth to gain a body and to prove ourselves so that we can return to live with Him again if we live our lives righteously. Knowing this Plan gives me comfort in understanding where we came from and why we are here and where we go after we die. I love my savior, Jesus Christ, and am grateful for all he taught me and did for me.

How I live my faith

Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is very rewarding. It gives me many opportunities to serve others who are in need and also brings out the talents I never realized I had. I have served many years with teaching children the gospel principles. I love teaching children because they are so innocent and Christ-like and they love learning.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No. Mormons help anyone who needs it. I have a friend who is not a Mormon. She is a single parent and unable to work right now due to a broken ankle. The church is helping her with some of her finances and are also bringing in meals for her and her children. The church also has a fantastic humanitarian system. Sending needed items to countries with natural disasters or to people anywhere just needing everyday items. Show more Show less
