Hi I'm Matthew

I'm studying to be a dentist. I love playing guitar and singing. I love Apple products. :)

About Me

I'm attending Creighton School of Dentistry and have a wife and a little boy. They are my whole world.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not a Mormon because my parents are, but because it makes sense and feels right. Most people believe that families are forever, and yet many religions teach that we lose gender and relationships when we die. It feels right to believe in a God that has a body, just like ours, has a son Jesus Christ that he sent to die for us, and a Holy Ghost that he sends to comfort and guide - instead of a God that morphs and changes and is all in one. It makes sense that God loves every nationality and race equally that He sent his Son not only to visit the middle east, but to visit other continents to spread His gospel as well. The Book of Mormon is simply an outcome of Jesus Christ visiting the Americas. This book was translated by a prophet of God by the name of Joseph Smith. "Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." -Amos 3:7. God cares about us just as much as he always has and he continues to speak to us through prophets. There is a prophet on the earth today. His name is Thomas S. Monson. I know he is a prophet. You can feel it when he speaks. If you knew there was a prophet alive today, wouldn't you be curious what he was saying?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good husband and father. I live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ and giving of my time and talents to those around me. I live my faith by abstaining from substances that would harm my body and my ability to hear the whisperings of the spirit. I live my faith by sharing what I know to be true to those in my life.
