Hi I'm Candice

I'm a wife and a physical therapist. I love teaching people to learn to walk again. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

It took me 8 years to get my physical therapy degree! But, now I am finally doing what I dreamed of... being a physical therapist. I teach a lot of my patient's how to walk again and it is the neatest thing when they haven't walked for a long time and they take their first step. I married my best friend two years ago and he is amazing! We met in 2005 and he worked all the time. It took awhile for him to realize he wanted more out of life then just lots of money!!

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel brings so much joy to my everyday life. When I was 16, I decided that I needed to find out for myself whether or not this was the way I wanted to live my life. My parents were Mormon and I knew that I needed to know for myself. So I decided the only way I could know is if I read the Book of Mormon. So I read the entire Book of Mormon and I prayed every night to know if it was true, and if this church was the true church. I gained an amazing testimony of this work and this gospel and I know that it is the only way to have true happiness and peace in this life. I have been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since then and I have learned over and over again that this is the true gospel.

How I live my faith

I mentor and teach some young women in our church ages 12 and 13. They are so much fun and its really great to be able to share my experiences with them. They teach me so much about being a teenager and how hard it is to be "different' because of our faith. I teach them lessons at church on Sunday and we have one activity a week. Each activity is meant to teach them a life lesson or a portion of the gospel. They are so wonderful!
