Hi I'm Austin

I grew up in Arizona. I am a business student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student working part time at a bank and going to school. I am married to the most amazing person in the entire world. We are in the process of buying our first house and it is an exciting time for us. We don't have any kids yet, but we are preparing ourselves to have the amazing experience of bringing one of God's children into our home. We are excited for the opportunity to raise children in a loving, friendly, and Christ centered environment. I don't have a lot of hobbies right now, my wife and I stay busy with work and school, but we do love to get outdoors and enjoy ourselves when we have the time. Anything with a board is bound to be one of our favorite activities: longboarding, wakeboarding and snowboarding. We also love to hike and go on an occasional bike ride. Life is great and knowing what God's plan is for me and my family make it even better. We are supposed to enjoy life and God has given us the tools to help us find that joy.

Why I am a Mormon

It's hard to put in to words the feelings and experiences that have brought me to the point in my life where I am dedicated and converted to the Lord's Gospel. Here is a brief attempt. I was raised in the Mormon Church and was taught the teachings my entire life. It wasn't until I was older and I was searching for myself that I began to gain my own testimony. Of course growing up in the church I had felt so many times that the things I was learning were good and righteous, but it wasn't until later in life that my understanding was solidified. I came to know for myself through the thoughts and feelings I received directly from God that Jesus Christ is His Son, and my Savior, and that through His commandments I could find the joy and happiness that I was looking for. I came to know that through prayer and scripture study God can, and will communicate with me. I am not alone here on the Earth. God the creator of all things is my literal spiritual father and he knows me, cares about me and loves me. As a result he wants me to be happy. It is His love and the love of His son that continues to motivate me to follow the commandments. The joy, peace and happiness that I sought while I was in my teenage years is found by following the simple yet life changing commandments of God as delivered in the scriptures and through His living prophets. I want to be happy in this life and the next and that is why I am a Mormon,

How I live my faith

My wife and I get to teach 5 and 6 year old children every week in our congregations children's Sunday school youth group. It is so much fun to learn from them and their sweet, pure spirits. Children truly are a gift from God and can teach us so much if we will just let them.
